Website Evangelism

Website Evangelism began in early 2006.  I had stepped out of parish ministry to engage with mainstream society for a couple of years.  My wife Jenny and I had decided we would do this before going back into parish ministry. 

During this time, we boarded with our eldest daughter and her husband who kindly offered us a space in their home as a stop gap measure till I got a job.  The job eventually came, 17 months later!  Just over half way into that time, I stepped on some wet paint on a roof and had a close encounter with a slab of concrete.  This could have been the end. 

Things were not going very well.

However, during the convalescence (and much boredom) as the bones mended, I felt inspired to experiment in building a website. Very soon, the potential for evangelism could be seen.

It seemed that this was to become yet another occasion in our lives where God was working out all things for good, for those who love him and are called according to his purposes.

And now, here we are, launching a mission to bring the gospel to people through the Internet. 

I might share more of the story at a later date but want to finish here by saying that God is good and he deserves all the glory for anything good that comes out of this chapter of our lives.
