Around November 2008, we created a website about the End Of The World in 2012
In a recent 30 day period, over 127,000 people from 183 nations visited that site.
Many viewed a salvation message on it.  Some said it lead them to repent and believe the gospel.
This is just one of the websites which Website Evangelism has created.  There is room for many more.

Website Evangelism has a mission project focusing on people's interest in the 2012 End Of The World scenario.  This has become a an amazing opportunity to proclaim the gospel.  We are seeing God bless this mission but we need your help to do more. 

The website we have put together on 2012 that does two things:

(1) Uncovers some of the lies about the 2012 predictions and explains why they will not happen.
(2) Leads people to the truth about Jesus with a gospel presentation and an invitation to respond.

Jesus said, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come" (Matthew 24:14).  In the parable of the banquet he also  said, "And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."  (Luke 14:23). 

Website Evangelism is taking the gospel of the kingdom to the nations of the world through the highways and byways of the world wide web.

Jesus, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men" (Matthew 4:19). We are inviting you to come fishing with us on the world wide web and at the movies. This is an invitation and opportunity for individuals and congregations to take the gospel to the nations. The nations include those who live in the community in which you live and worship and not just the Internet community. 

• Website Evangelism builds websites on topics the which the lost are actually interested in
• We place a gospel presentation called "The Good Person Test" (see menu) on each site
  
• We promote these sites through search engine optimization techniques and networking
• People find these sites because the sites are turning up on page one of a Google search
• Many visitors also visit the gospel presentations and other pages with Scripture on them
• Email and survey results indicate that sinners are being saved and saints are repenting of sin.

PLEASE NOTE:  The purpose of Website Evangelism is: Evangelism - proclaiming the Good News about Christ's death for sinners (Mark 16:15).  While we offer some "results" from the approach of Website Evangelism below, the focus of this mission is not on results!  That may be shocking for some to read.  But it is  entirely Scriptural.  Jesus did not say, "Get converts" but "Preach the gospel" and "Make disciples".    If Evangelism for you means, "Get converts" then not only is it unbiblical but it is destined for disappointment and frustration.  However, if you understand that Evangelism is obeying Jesus command to "Preach the gospel" you will be successful every time you do it. 

Successful Evangelism is not measured by results but by the spread of the gospel: 

Jesus said, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come" (Matthew 24:14).

• It is now number 1 on page 1 of a Google search for the target search phrase it was built on
• In a recent 30 day period, over 13,000 people visited the main gospel presentation
• This site has been visited by 196 nations - as many as 183 have visited in a month
• Over 127,000 visits in 1 month, 40,000 in 1 week, 7,000 in one day (latter = 2.5mill per year)

The amazing thing is that none of these people were looking for the Good News about Jesus Christ.  They were just curious about 2012 and after a Google search, landed on our site.




In a recent survey of those who had done the Good Person Test in a two month period 1,764 people responded.  They were invited to answer a one-question survey after doing the Good Person Test.  Here's their response...

• 14% (254) said that it had lead them to repent before God and believe the gospel
• 17% (308) said that it had lead them back to the Lord (people who had strayed from Christ)
• 10% (184) said that as a Christian, it had lead them to repent of something(s)
• 15% (268) said that they were open to what it said but needed more time to think

PLEASE NOTE:  Successful Evangelism is not measured by conversions but by the spread of the gospel message.  Successful evangelism is about taking the gospel of the kingdom to the nations of the world (Matthew 24:14 - a great verse to memorise.  See also Philippians 1:12).

Unless you have already been given the link to the 2012 site from a friend, you're probably very curious by now to have a look at that site.  We would like to give you some very unique instructions on how to get there that will promote the site at the same time.  Following the instructions below will help move our 2012 site closer to page one on a Google search for one of the search phrases we are targeting.  The search phrase, "End of the world 2012" already brings our 2012 site up at number 1 on page 1 of a Google search.  This usually brings us well over 500 visits a day.  We need help to promote another search phrase that we are targeting.  Here's how you can help. .....

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS

We have made these as full as possible not wanting take people's internet knowledge for granted.

Regardless of your Internet knowledge, please read them all before taking action

 

1.       Go to www.google.com  or www.google.co.uk  or www.google.co.(yourcountry)

 

2.       Enter "2012 doomsday" (without the speech marks) in the search box
(NOT the website address box which is usually at the very top left of your browser!)

 

3.       Look carefully through the results that come up until you find the specific result below

(b) Description in black  [two lines of writing]

(c) The website's domain name or URL in green (see above) 

Make sure before you click on anything, that you have found the result with the same website name in GREEN as the one above.  Read the name carefully because there are some domain names that come very close to this one. 

 

Make sure it ends with ".net" and not ".com"  The "2012" should come at the end of the site name.

Check the Title and Description too. 

 

Then... 

 

4.       Click on the Blue link to the site "End Of The World 2012 - Dooms Day"

5.       Spend 20-30 minutes or more on the site; visiting at least 6 pages and spending a good amount of time of some.

6.       If you have not done so already, bookmark the site using "Favourites" on your web browser menu. 

7.       Visit the site again later in the next two days using the bookmark to get there.

You only need to follow steps 1 -7 once.  Once is enough.  But you can still keep visiting the site using your bookmark.

 

By following these instructions, you will be helping move the 2012 site up the Google search results for the target search phrase, "2012 Doomsday".  This means that more lost souls will see it and click on it and have the opportunity not just to discover the lies about 2012 but, more importantly, the truth about Jesus Christ and what he has done for them.
